• There is only one route from the Prado Museum to the Royal Palace of Madrid.
• Cars are the fastest way to reach the palace, but you must prepare to brace for the Madrid traffic.
• Head north from the museum towards Plaza de Canovas del Castillo.
• Take Plaza de las Cortes, C. del Prado, C. de Atocha, and C. de Concepción Jerónima to Plaza de Puerta Cerrada.
• Continue on this road to take C. del Sacramento to C. de Bailen. Take a slight right and you will see the entrance to the palace.

• If your schedule allows it, walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid from the Prado Museum.
• Strolling through the Madrid streets gives you a sense of its fascinating history.
• Head north to enter Paseo del Prado boulevard from the museum, turn left onto Calle de Cervantes, and then turn right onto Plaza Canovas del Castillo.
• Take a left onto Plaza de las Cortes in about 85 meters and continue for 550 meters to pass Carrera de S. Jeronimo and Puerta del Sol. Once you reach C. del Arenal, proceed to Plaza de Isabell II, C. de Vergara, and C. de Requena.
